Your People, Your Places, Your Things
YPYPYT 2023
Competition for UK based FE students of Photography and the Visual Arts.
A huge well-done to the 24 finalists whose work is printed in this magazine as well as congratulations to the students whose work has been highly commended and is shown on our London Met BA Photography Website: www.ldnmetarts.photography
There were many entries and we would like to thank every student from around the country who took time to submit work to the competition. We would also like to thank the tutors and lecturers who kindly shared the information about the competition and encouraged students to take part. It was fantastic to see so much creativity and love of photography.
Congratulations to Neve Turner Clay from West Suffolk College for the landscape entry that has won the Your Places category and to Paige Haydock Jones from The Sixth Form Bolton for the winning image in the Your People category of the competition.
Really well done to Aliyah Abigail Jay also from West Suffolk College for the still life photograph that not only wins the best in the Your Things category but is this year’s overall winner of the competition.
As in previous years, I would like to thank the students, alumni and staff for their time and diligence in judging the competition.
