January 2021, I worked on a project that shed light onto the constant hypersexualisation and dictation of what is expected from a woman’s role in society. One of my series depicts a woman in a suit tailored for a man coming back home in the transition from work mode to a state of relaxation. The element of her nudity is an attempt to deconstruct the taboos developed around women’s bodies, and the suit that is unfit for her which makes allusions to the difficulties to work as a woman in a male dominated industry.
