I am a London-based artist, photographer working in both digital and analogue. My body of work aims to evoke feelings, to capture the essence of a story in a short series of images.
I take photographs to show social conventions, where what is accepted is often unacceptable. There is enough space for the audience to experience their perceptions, as I believe that once made, art belongs to their eyes, and not anymore to the creator.
This project is voicing the unheard, challenging your conscience, not your comfort. Constructing the narrative with a use of abstract and cinematic feel. My images speak about contemporary realities. Overlooked looks at gender inequality and social injustice, inviting my audience to see the overlooked as something worth remembering, not necessarily liking.
